Bogner Ecstasy 104 versus 101 and 20thA - There are no options other than custom color tolex available or power tubes - The Black Voicing comes with EL34’s (item# XTCB104BV) and the Gold Voicing with 6L6 (item# XTCA104GV) - The standard tolex for the 104 is black bronco/levant, not the comet tolex, this was chosen for a cleaner look with the new art work on the control panel, If a customer wants black comet tolex we will do it, use item# XTCB104BV-C and XTCA104GV-C - The Black and Gold Voicing come both with black knobs, if a customer wants white knobs on the Black Voicing because the 101B had them use item# XTCBV-WK, if comet tolex and white knobs are preferred use XTCBV-C-WK - There is no New-Old style power amp switch and an Class A/AB switch option is not offered - The line out does not have a level control - The FX loop is series only, the parallel option seems obsolete in 2025 where effects have great internal mixers - The green, clean, channel does not have a boost anymore, you have an additional channel instead to cover a boosted clean if you choose so. - The green and purple channel switch to a fixed presence feedback circuit, the blue and red channel have a common presence control on the back panel as well as a depth switch which replaces the familiar excursion. The switchable presence b has been left of to have space for a global master volume on the front panel for quick and easy adjusting of the overall volume instead of adjusting each individual channel volume. - Single high impedance input only. - Very important to understand is that the controls on this new platform work different from all past Ecstasy models! Examples are clean channel mid control, master volume, presence, etc… Setting these the same as on an older model will be different and don’t make sense to compare! You will find out that 12 o’clock on most controls is a very good starting point to get quickr esults.
The GV Model which uses 6L6 tubes. The BV (not this listing) uses EL34s
